Preview Party Best Way to See the 2009 American Craft Council Show

Atlanta (December 15, 2008) – The 20th annual American Craft Council Show will bring plenty of excitement to Atlanta next spring with its highly respected roster of craft artists and their one-of-a-kind jewelry, clothing, furniture, home décor and more. But those in the know have realized that the best way to see the show is to attend the Preview Party for a sneak peek and a chance to mingle with the artists while enjoying a few bites and sips. Preview Party attendees also get first dibs on the fantastic items included in the show – it’s a chance to buy before the show even opens. The 2009 Preview Party will jointly benefit the Youth Art Connection, a program of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and the American Craft Council.


THE PARTY Join the Youth Art Connection/Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and the American Craft Council for the American Craft Council Show Preview Party. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, the opportunity to meet the American Craft Council participating artists, a special raffle, a chance to view all of the art works that will be on sale and best of all – a chance to purchase ahead of the crowd.

THE CHAIRS The American Craft Council Show Preview Party is honored to have Tania Becker and Marianne Lambert as the Preview Party Founding Co-Chairs. The 2009 Preview Party welcomes Lucinda Bunnen, Melissa Bunnen Jernigan and Belinda Bunnen Reusch as Preview Party Co-Chairs. Matt Brill will be the Young Person’s Preview Party Chair.


THE SHOW The 20th Annual American Craft Council Show will take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre from March 13 to 15, 2009. The show will feature more than 225 of the nation’s most respected craft artists, who will exhibit and sell their latest high-quality handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing, home accessories and more. At the southeast’s largest craft show, artists are selected through a rigorous jury process to ensure the admission of museum-quality work. Works presented at the American Craft Council Show in Atlanta begin at $25 and go into the thousands.


THE CHARITY Youth Art Connection (YAC) uses the arts as a means to connect with underserved children and teens in Atlanta.
