Atlanta native Chassie Post, now a New York style editor tells Atlanta Peach Magazine about her Atlanta roots.
What were those teen years like for the Atlanta native? “It revolved around two places, Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, where you could go to Richard’s five-and-dime, King’s Drugs, Oxford Bookstore and Baskin-Robbins,” she says, rattling off the list as if she was there yesterday. “The other was West Paces Ferry Shopping Center—there we would hit Wender & Robert’s Drug Store, Gretchen’s Dress Shop and Rich’s Bakery, who had these great boxes with a lime green and white lattice pattern. The 7-Eleven across the street was de rigueur for a Big Gulp.”
