Atlanta native Daniel Wilcox and also a star of the Baltimore Ravens had a fairytale luxury wedding day! From the details in Essence magazine Wilcox and bride Shauna Chin had a wedding day to remember and one that should last forever.
A symphony of cheers filled the empty Ravens M&T Bank stadium like a chorus, as Baltimore Ravens Daniel Wilcox awaited his lovely bride, Shauna Chin.
Chin, a former Ms. Belize who hails from Queens, New York, made her grand entrance in a horse-drawn carriage before she walked down the aisle to meet her hubby-in-waiting at the 50-yeard line in a couture Pnina Tornai strapless, beaded gown with a cascading train and Christian Louboutin shoes. Wilcox was dapper in a hand-stitched, custom-made tuxedo created by New York designer Devon Scott.
"I never even thought about getting married like that," said Wilcox, whose son Tristan served as ring bearer, "but with Shauna I felt like she opened herself up to me and I did as well."
Three hundred of the couple's family and friends witnessed their exchange of vows before Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant of the Empowerment Temple and host of the "Power of Life," an international broadcast. Afterward, at the reception in the stadium's private club, the couple shared their first dance to Eric Benét and Tamia's "Spend My Life With You." Later, the happy couple performed their own dance routine, which included old-school dances such as the Robot .
Once the evening closed, Wilcox shared why he'd fallen for his wife. "We're so much alike when it comes to our morals and values," said the Atlanta native, "and that is a blessing."
Top this Shauna had family sign the bottom of her Christian Louboutin shoes. The bride’s garter had a silver glass slipper secured by a diamond.
