Atlanta has been named by Forbes.com as the best American city for singles!
Forbes.com’s 8th annual ranking of America’s “Best Cities For Singles” gave Atlanta “the top spot because of its hopping nightlife, relatively high number of singles and sizzling job growth,” Forbes.com Executive Editor Michael Noer said.
“To those who know "Hotlanta," the ranking should come as no surprise,” Forbes.com noted. “In the eight years that we have been ranking America's largest urban areas in terms of their friendliness to the nation's 74 million single adults, only once did Atlanta place outside the top 10.”
San Francisco fell to second place on this year’s list, followed by Dallas-Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul (tied for the No. 3 spot) and Washington, D.C. (5). Rounding out the Top 10, are Seattle, Boston, New York City, Orlando, Fla., and Phoenix.
