This is one of those ideas, when you say I wish I thought of that first! Curls to Cuts, is an upscale children’s salon that is tailored to hair care needs of children between the ages of 1 – 14! That’s right they specialize in hair care just for kids, hair care for girls ages 2-14 and cuts for boys ages 1-14. They specialize in African American hair textures but can do all types of hair.
According to their website, the stylists have been especially selected for their desire and ability to work with children. The salon caters to children by allowing them to participate in age appropriate activities such as watching television or dvds, reading, or playing video games in our game room.
I became a fan of Curls to Cuts when my little one year old relative visited the upscale salon! He even got keepsakes to take with him from his visit, including pictures from his first haircut! They were absolutely too cute.
On their website they tell the story of how Curls to Cuts is owned by six African-American working mothers. They even offer special themed parties! You get to choose from four themes starting at $240, food and beverage options are also available.
